THE GOOD
- Another issue of Birthright means amazing story highlighted with gorgeous art and colors. Williamson is really cranking up the fantasy elements as more of Terrenos has entered Earth and is actively hunting down Mikey and Brennan. The lore introduced in this issue are wonderful. I love when Williamson gets to mess with fantasy elements and this issue is definitely one those. We learn about of the friends/enemies, we aren’t sure which side they are on, of Terrenos.
The art is amazing! I rant and rave about the art in this book because it is so adaptable and fits fantasy and also the family drama elements that this book shifts between.
THE BAD
- There are a very pages where the art gets a bit muddy. Some of the figures look odd and not as sharp as they should be.
THE VERDICT
- The story of Birthright is awesome! The parallel story telling of what goes on in Earth and what happened in Terrenos makes it feel like you are reading two books at once. They both tie together for an awesome reading experience. Williamson and Bressan have an awesome book here.
